Ride is a minimalist bar stool where the inspiration for the design is drawn from the unicycle. Our goal was to design a bar stool that would both stand out and integrate into a room at the same time. The chair has a central leg that continues down from the seat in a curve, touching the base and ending in a foot support that gives the impression of balancing on the floor. We want to create a characteristic bar stool with clean, simple lines and shapes that focuses on the essentials – seat, base and foot support, connected by a single line.
